Google review***** November 2024 We had a wonderful couples tour with Kotor Private Tours in October 2024. They were sooooo easy to work with and met us at our cruise ship terminal and all communication prior to the tour was quickly answered. Every thing was taken care of as we boarded a boat for a tour on water and then met up with the van to continue our tour on land. The commentary was so fun and amusing and we learned so much about the culture and beauty of Montenegro. A must do tour! Marilyn Houston
Google review ***** November 2024 Our trip to Montenegro was the best with Daniel from Kotor Private Tours. I had an injury after booking and Liset was so easy to work with to change our excursion so that they could accommodate my injury. We went to Lovcen National park and visited Njegos Mausoleum, a hike of 460 steps. Daniel stayed with us along the way to make sure that we were good with this level of activity. I was so happy we did it. The breathtaking views were worth it. What a lovely day in Kotor. Stephen Pomerantz
Google review **** November 2024 Our day in Montenegro was magic. Our cruise ship itinerary only took us as far as Dubrovnik and we wanted Montenegro...had only a day to do it and needed to get back in time to make our ship in Dubrovnik. Liset promised us she could do it and she did! It was a wonderful full day mix of being on a speedboat and walking around Kotor and other small towns. We were picked up by a driver in a Mercedes van who was wonderful to talk to as he guided us to and from Montenegro (where we picked up the speedboat). Everything was first rate and customized to our needs. For example, I wanted a particular picture and they took the speedboat back past the area I needed to get it . The price was not cheap, but wasn't excessive and well worth it, just as Liset promised. Actually, it was inexpensive considering that it was a totally private tour with our own driver, speedboat pilot, tour guide. I did a lot of communication prior to the trip to make sure it all worked out and appreciated Liset's attention to me and to detail. She was a bit annoyed that I bought something (a chandelier) in Kotor without asking her..because she would have gotten me a better price (I did ok, so it is fine)... She was the ultimate resource! I highly recommend Kotor Private Tours. Again, it was a magical day, the highlight of our trip to Europe. Doreen Logan
Google review ***** November 2024 Our guide was great! She told us about things we didn’t even know to ask about. Kotor is beautiful and old and has so many influences. Things we would not have known without this tour. We loved it! Tabitha Dotson
Google review ***** October 2024 We took the private "Coast and Mountains" full-day tour. It happened to be my daughter's 15th birthday that day so they made it special for her. She got to go ziplining and at our stop at the smokehouse (the prosciutto tasting was A+++), they had a special birthday cake for her. The scenery is magnificent and everyone we met was so kind. I wish we had had more time to spend in Budva. It was very hot that day so it would have been nice to take a swim to cool off. I would love to visit Montenegro again! Ram Edry
Google review **** September 2024 We had a wonderful day of group tour (19 adults) by "Kotor Private Tour" which we all enjoyed , including visiting Budva's old town, view point of the Saint Stefan Island, Perast (including lunch in a local restaurant on the water front), sailing to and visiting the "Lady of the Rocks Island" and a walking tour of Kotor's old town. All the above with a professional English speaking Guide which did a very good job. This was arranged and coordinated by Liset from her Koror office, which was very well organized. , I highly recommend using their service Raymond Day
Google review ***** September 2024 My wife and I had the absolute pleasure to be shown the beautiful Kotor by Nela. Organising the tour was incredibly easy. Liset from Kotor Private Tours was easily contactable on Email and then later by Whatsapp. The town was absolutely stunning, which was reinforced by Nelas knowledge of the country and the town. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. The operation of the tour, the knowledge they possess was first class. Thank you Nela and Liset. Note- Residents of Australia should note that TELSTRA DATA ROAMING will not work. Pay the extra for Montenegro on your Esim!!! Cindy
Google review ***** July 2024 After booking with Kotor Private Tours, our port of call changed few weeks before arrival from Kotor to Bar. We got in touch with Liset about change; she did not hesitate at all and adjusted tour for Bar pick up. Daniel met us at port and whisked us to meet Liset and our speedboat captain for a fantastic tour of the Montenegrin coastline including the beautiful blue waters of a several grottos. We then enjoyed an informative walking tour within the medieval walled city of Budva followed by lunch at a scenic beachside restaurant Liset recommended. Daniel returned us to our ship with plenty of time to spare. By tour’s end, we felt as if we were leaving old friends. Highly recommend Kotor Private Tours! Michelle Popowitz
Google review ***** July 2024 An incredible day with Daniel and so much delicious food and drink Our family of 5 (ranging in age from 17 to 81) visited Kotor on May 28, 2024 as one of the stops on a cruise with Oceania. We had been to Montenegro on a prior cruise, and at that time, had explored on foot, so we wanted to make sure to do something different this time. I had explored a number of sites and tours, but was intrigued by what was offered by Kotor Private Tours. I communicated with Liset to make arrangements for our visit--and I had ambitious plans with an interest in visiting the smokehouse, going to the vineyard, and visiting the oyster and mussel farm. As Liset told me, these places were not close together and it was likely that I would need to sacrifice one if there were bad weather or traffic. Then to make things even more challenging, we learned as we boarded our cruise, that the stop was going to be an hour shorter. Liset advised us to be among the first off and we would make a decision during the visit about whether the mussels and oysters would make the cut. Well... we did it all! We were among the first off the ship and were greeted by Daniel who was our incredible guide and driver for the day. Daniel was warm, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and an expert driver through rather challenging terrain. There were 25 hairpin turns before we arrived at our first stop--the Njegusi smokehouse. We were greeted with a shot of grappa (at 10 am) and then proceeded for our tour through the smokehouse (with 1000s of hanging aging hams), followed by a "snack" of prosciutto, wine, cheese, tomatoes, and bread. Delicious. Back into the van, and we headed to Storia di Pietra where, as we arrived, a storm began! We received a personal tour from Stefan Kašćelan, one of the owners. What a beautiful place. While we had our three course wine pairing, the storm raged outside. We had an incredible view of it from the stunning glass encased hall--it was so beautiful that I was convinced it was set up for a wedding. But in fact it was for tastings. We loved the three wines that we tasted. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we were on a mission to squeeze in the mussel and oyster farm too. Luck was on our side because the skies cleared as we headed out of the vineyard. So then our fearless guide, Daniel, took us back to the shore where we met a speedboat... yes a speedboat... the brilliant strategy to avoid traffic and be able to visit the mussel and oyster farm without missing our ship. I had thought we would learn about the farming experience, but rather it was more food! On tables, right on the dock, at a leisurely pace we were served a platter of oysters (25 for the 5 of us to share) and then two giant pots of mussels. It was gluttony even if we hadn't had the two other food experiences a few hours earlier. The food was served with a choice of beer or wine. We then raced in our speedboat back to the port where our ship was docked and made it back with about 45 minutes to spare. What an incredible (and caloric) day. Made all the more special by Daniel. The whole family loved the experience and we all would highly recommend Kotor Private Tours! Thank you Daniel and Liset for making our experience so memorable. Steve Spellman
Google review ***** July 2024 On a recent Mediterranean cruise we booked a tour of Kotor with Liset-Kotor Private Tours. However our ship was too large to go into Kotor and was changed to Budva. Despite the change, Liset and her husband, Daniel drove from Kotor to lead our tour of Budva. We spent a day in Bar and we had an amazing time. Liset and her husband Daniel, provided an outstanding tour of Budva and the surrounding area. Especially enjoyable was a boat tour of the coastline and the Blue Caves. Liset loves her country and shared the very best with us. She has a wonderful knowledge of the history and customs of the various areas and it was one of the most enjoyable tours the four of us had on this trip. Budva is a beautiful city and well worthy of visiting, especially with Liset who made it a most memorable day. Cheryl De-Souza
Google review ***** August 2024 I recently had the pleasure of taking a tour in Montenegro with our fantastic guide, Daniel. The experience was nothing short of amazing and incredibly informative. We started with a tour of Kotor Old Town, where Daniel shared fascinating insights into the history and culture of the area. After exploring Kotor, we visited a charming olive oil farm. There, we enjoyed a fabulous traditional Montenegrin lunch. The food was delicious, and the hospitality was exceptional. Overall, this tour was a highlight of my trip. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montenegro. Kotor MontenegroPatricia review of Kotor Private Tours and Excursions
Reviewed November 2024 Liset, was wonderful, giving us a tour of Kotor, explained everything well, stops for pictures, then we took the tour to the Blue Grotto, gorgeous and just being on a small private boat was wonderful. We also stopped at the Lady of Rock island for pictures. I give her a 10 for being so professional. Thank you again for making our day in Kotor very special. Jeff N
Fantastic personalized private tour Jun 2024 • Couples We have used Liset and Daniel from Kotor private tours twice now and both times have been awesome. Daniel is a fantastic guide and is filled with excellent local knowledge of Kotor and the surrounding areas. Liset is also super responsive and is great to work with. We hired them both times coming from a cruise ship and Daniel was very aware of the time to be back at the port to get on the ship. We will definitely hire Liset and Daniel again the next time we visit Kotor! Arlene D

Great communication and customer service Apr 2024 • Couples We planned for a full day tour in Kotor with Liset. However, our shiphad mechanical problems and we could not go to Kotor. However, throughout the booking process the communication was fast and specifically responsive to our questions. Once the booking had to be cancelled, the company understood completely understood and promptly refunded our initial deposit in full. When we return to Kotor we will book with this company. Google review ***** Liset is GORGEOUS, she knows a lot, she expresses herself brilliantly and she is very funny. He immediately understands the needs of the group and adapts to them. We were with her recording three reports and she quickly understood the audiovisual dynamics and its requirements. His ability to disseminate information, with or without a camera, in an entertaining way is admirable. Dawn Lee
Google review ***** June 2024 I contacted Liset two years ago to curate and coordinate tours for our wedding guests for our weekend in Montenegro. The tours, the drivers and the vendors were all wonderful each tour was personalized. I can not say enough about Liset though we had to make a lot of adjustments and she was so accommodating, quick to respond and resolved the issues caused by the headaches of planning a wedding. We highly recommend Liset and Kotor Private Tours if you are in the Boka Bay area. A list of what she arranged; Transfers to/from Dubrovnik, speed boat tour, walking tours of Perast, Kotor and Budva, mountain tour including lunch and boat transfer for our wedding guests to visit Our Lady Of The Rocks! A million thanks Liset❤️ krazeec
A must-do in Kotor Our group had a great tour with Lisette, who was well organised yet flexible to our needs. She showed us the most important parts of the old town and we learned a lot about the fascinating history of Kotor. Thanks to the tour, we stayed on longer than planned in the town afterwards to revisit the most interesting places in further detail. Highly recommended! |
