You will start the day with a spectacular drive along the Mount Lovcen Pass giving you the most stunning views over the most beautiful bay in the Mediterranean. The road continues to Njegusi mountain village where in 1813 Petar II Petrovic Njegusi one of the most important Bishop and ruler of Montenegro was born. Petar became the Prince-Bishop of Montenegro at the age of 17,he was also a famous poet and philosopher. In Njegusi you visit our friend's smoke house to learn about the prosciutto making process and of course to sample their local delicacies such as local ham "prosciutto" ,cheese,bread, tomatoes, wine and grape brandy.
Cetinje, the historical and cultural capital of Montenegro, here you will visit the foreign residence of King Nikola today a museum and the Serbian Orthodox Monastery of Cetinje,during our visit you will be able to pass by the church were the the only king of Montenegro and his wife are buried, as well as the building Billiarda once the residence of the bishop Petar II Njegus and the Montenegrin Senate during the 19c.
