You will start the day with a spectacular drive along our Budvan Riviera for a visit of the old town of Budva, the oldest city along the Montenegrin coastline It’s a great place to experience the real Mediterranean atmosphere.
Then we will continue our drive towards Lovcen Pass at around 1000 metres for some spectacular views of the UNESCO protected inner bay, seemingly just a stone’s throw away. The Mausoleum is reached by 461 stone steps and gives commanding views of the northern mountain ranges, Skadar Lake and Albania.
The road continues to Njegusi mountain village where in 1813 Petar II Petrovic Njegusi one of the most important Bishop and ruler of Montenegro was born. Petar became the Prince-Bishop of Montenegro at the age of 17,he was also a famous poet and philosopher. In Njegusi you visit our friend's smoke house to learn about the prosciutto making process and of course to sample their local delicacies such as local ham "prosciutto" ,cheese,bread, tomatoes, wine and grape brandy.
Later you head for the sunny . The tour ends in Kotor after the city tour of this amazing UNESCO world heritage site.
