This walking tour of the Kotor's old town is perfect if you only have a short time visiting from a cruise ship. The tour provides an excellent orientation to Kotor and offers optional visits to St. Tryphon Cathedral and the Maritime Museum, after your visit you will have enough time to enjoy the town without rushing back on board the cruise ship.
After we meet by the port main entrance or by the Main entrance of Kotor Old town, we will start with a visit to our Farmers market, here you will learn about the Kotor lifestyle enjoy the fuss and buzz from the farmers and local producers, offering their fresh organic and very tasting products, we will be able to try some local delicacies like prosciutto, cheese, olives and the local rakija!
Then we are off to explore the streets and get lots in its maze while talking about the history and architecture of this breathtaking medieval town, we will choose a local restaurant and enjoy a nice taste of Kotor and Montenegro, now is time to try our excellent traditional products!
We will have a platter of cold cuts, olives cheese, spreads and some local wine or beer we are also trying our Buzzara, mussels in white wine sauce (a traditional Bay of Kotor dish) it is time to relax and enjoy the town with a nice chat.
Once we finish the tour we will walk back to the port or we will be happy to point some places for you to enjoy your leisure time or shopping.

After meeting your licensed tour guide at the pier, you enjoy walking through the maze of Kotor's medieval quarter, its bustling market and among beautiful Renaissance buildings. The well preserved fortified walls of Kotor protect it from the sea and at nearly 3 miles long it is considered one of the world's historic values.
Your tour includes a visit to the Cathedral of St. Tryphon which was constructed in 1166 and built on the remains of a former temple from the 9th century. You will see the remains from 14th century frescoes and the valuable treasury with both local and Venetian golden works dating from the 14th to the 20th centuries.
Also included is a visit to the Maritime Museum where you see a unique collection representing maritime history of Boka (the Gulf of Kotor). The collection includes many historical objects, models and pictures of old ships and sailboats, plus ship parts and old instruments.
When the tour is complete you will have a familiar orientation of the town so you can enjoy free time and then walk back to your ship later in the day.
