After meeting in Kotor old town or surrounding areas we will head towards the Village of Njegusi, know as the birth place of Petar Petrovic Njegos. We will go off the beaten path and will will visit our friend's Vido and his family owned smoke house in Njegusi. Njegusi village is famous for its smoked ham or prosciutto (Njeguski prsut), flat bread (Lepinja) and cheese (Njeguski Sir) after having a tour of the smokehoouse you will have a sample of our local and homemade specialties including local wine and brandy (know as Loza or Rakija). After some free time we will return via Kotor’s stunning serpentine road with plenty of photo opportunities once in Kotor you will have a walking tour through the maze of Kotor's medieval quarter, its bustling market and among beautiful Renaissance buildings. Depending on the time of the year you might want to bring a light jacket with you, we will be driving up to Lovcen mountain and it much cooler than Kotor. |
