Kotor WOW
We had no idea what to expect in Kotor, and were totally blown away by the beauty. We meet our guide Stanka at the pier for a trip over the mountain to Budva and the historic old town, with a couple of scenic stops. We then continued to the highlight of the tour, a speed boat ride to the Church of Our Lady of the Rocks, offering breathtaking views and interesting history, we then boated over to Perast, were the kids went to the beach and the non beachy people had a waterside lunch. After grabing some excellent Gelato for dessert we off on the speedboat to Kotor and a tour of the 11th century walled old town of Kotor featuring impressive walls, and Our Lady of Remedy. Highly recommend taking a tour with a boat componet, really adds to the wow factor.
Highlight of our trip

We had a group of 9 people ranging in age from 5 to 80 years old. We met our guide outside the cruise ship and immediately began a very insightful tour of the old city. After this we met with Igor, our boat captain and cruised around the bay, visited the Our Lady of the Rock Church, and swam at the blue cave. All went great, captain was awesome, the views unbeatable (and we got to see dolphins!).
Liset was great to work with leading up to the day of the tour. Highly recommend!

Fantastic day in Kotor!!

We took a private tour and Kate was our guide. Prior to the trip, we communicated wtih Liset, who worked with us to set up the itinerary that we wanted. Our itinerary included trips to Budva, Perast and Old Town Kotor et al.. As soon as we got off the cruise ship, we met our guide, Kate. We absolutely loved her and our day spent in Kotor and the surrounding areas (Budva/Perast etc.)! She was so incredibly knowledgeable and gave us great information throughout the day. Furthermore, everyone enjoyed the speedboat ride around the bay to view the different areas, have lunch etc.. Kate got us back to the port on schedule at the end of the day. If we ever come back to Kotor, Montenegro (our favorite city on the cruise), we would definitely use this tour company again and request Kate's guide services.
Fun and thorough
We opted for a small group private tour that included the Old Town and surrounding areas, as well as a speed boat tour. It was a full, fun and thoroughly enjoyable day. We learned so much about the area, and got to appreciate it on land and from the sea. Our guide made a great lunch suggestion as well and eating fresh fish and pasta while overlooking the water was a highlight of the trip. I highly recommend this tour.
Ultimate Best Montenegro Coastline Tour was truly wonderful

We took the full day Ultimate Best of Montenegro Coastline tour with tour guide Daniel and boat captain Nemanja. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. We enjoyed the land portions of the trip, but especially loved the private boat tour to the Blue Cave and our short swim there. We had time to make a boat stop for lunch at Verige65, a very scenic and beautiful restaurant on the water. We highly recommend this tour.
Loved the tour

We’d the private boat tour to blue cave. Enjoyed the tour. It was great and we were able to see the beautiful coast of Montenegro. We swam at blue cove and at the return took pictures from Lady of the Rocks. Thank you Liset and Daniel for the great day. Definitely recomend them for the warm and professional reception.
Incredible
Incredible tour, guide in Spanish was fantastic. Great service and knowledge of the place We did a combination of speed boat and walking tour and both were great Highly recommended
One of the highlights of a very scenic cruise
We had family group of 6 for whole day tour of mountains and town. We have professional photographer with us and they ensured we had stops at all the best spots. Montenegro is a lovely country with lovely people. Almost hate to say how nice it was since I know the tourism business will be booming and I will miss some of the quaintness of less people...but everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy this lovely country. Tour guide was entertaining and had excellent english. Driver was very good and safe and with the narrow winding roads this is critical! Highly recommend.
Great day on land and water

Our group of four booked the private Kotor Blue Cave boat tour. We started the morning with a walking tour of the city. Our guide Dejana took us through the streets and showed us all the beautiful places in the old city. Next she led us to the water where we boarded our boat for the next portion of our tour. Our boat driver’s name was Nemanja. He drove us through the waters and beautiful scenery to the blue cave. We entered the blue cave and got some amazing pictures. He is an amazing captain. It was very crowded in there with boats and swimmers, so they took us to another cave area to swim. We swam for a short while, but the water was a bit rough. Dejana recommended another place for us to swim which was very calm, and we spent some time in that spot. Nemanja drove us into hillside hideouts where they kept the submarines during WWII. Back at the town, Dejana continue our tour of a few other spots. We had a great lunch as well. If you enjoy spending time on and in the water and want to view the old town as well, I recommend this tour.
Wonderful tours with Daniel
Our 2 week cruise made 2 stops in Kotor. We quickly fell in love with Montenegro and was our favorite port. Our first tour with Daniel was the speedboat tour. The blue cave was amazing and Daniel had our boat driver take us into an abandoned submarine refueling station. On our 2nd visit, we took the mountain tour with a stop at a smoke house. I highly recommend using Kotor Private Tours. Of all our private guides, Daniel was our favorite.
Boat ride to blue cave
Best part of vacation by unanimous decision, including two teenagers! Nemanja was a wonderful, informative, safe captain. Blue cave was gorgeous, stopped to swim, toured submarine caves, stopped for a drink and some cheese. Excellent day, can’t recommend enough!!!!
Best way to experience Kotor!
When I was researching private excursion options for our cruise, Kotor Private Tours and Excursions stood out with all their fantastic reviews. We booked a half-day private speed boat excursion to Our Lady of the Rocks and Perast, with a walking tour of Kotor and were so glad that we did! Our guide Daniel was the BEST and even though the weather was a bit drizzly, we had an amazing time. There were so many cool facts and hidden gems that we wouldn't have known about without Daniel and we really felt like we made the most of our time in port. Would definitely recommend and if we ever are back in Kotor we would use again!
Can hardly wait to come back and stay in Montenegro
Well, what can I say except the private day trip was amazing. Being picked up in an air-conditioned mini van, with a driver as well as the owner was amazing. We spent the entire day with them and the highlight for sure was the Blue Cave. Don't go to Montenegro and not see it. Being a private tour, with eight of us, is the only way to go. Book with this company and you will not be disappointed!!!!!
Beautiful Kotor!
My husband and I visited Kotor during a cruise June 2019. We chose The ultimate Best of our Coastline Tour. Our guide Daniel was great! He was very knowledgeable and made us feel as though we were visiting an old friend. It is impossible to mention every thing we did, but some of the highlights were the historic city of Budva, the speed boat ride to Our Lady of Rocks and Perast. Montenegro is absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend Kotor Private Tours and Excursions.
The Ultimate Best of our Coastline Tour
We had the most fabulous day with Kotor Private Tours and Excursions arranged by Liset. We had from 7am- 5pm in Kotor with our Emerald Princess cruise. We were tendered into Kotor and met on the dock by our incredible guide, Kate. We are a family group of 9 with ages from 13-77 and the tour kept everyone happy. Our great driver, Odyssey, took us along the coast to Budva where we had a walking tour of that beautiful historic city. We were then taken to the beautiful yacht port where we boarded 2 speed boats to the blue caves for swimming. We loved seeing the hidden submarine caves and then had the best fresh seafood lunch at a restaurant overlooking a small harbour. Our skippers, Captain "Nemo" and Ilija made the trip exciting and fun. We went on to Our Lady of the Rocks and beautiful Perast. We then went back to Kotor to visit the port before returning to the ship.
Our family voted this tour as their favorite of our 14 day journey and we felt that we had seen as much of Montenegro as possible on our 7 hour day. We enjoyed the history and the beauty of this country and learned so much from Kate.
The booking was personal and easy with Liset A 50 euro booking payment was made on PayPal to reserve our tour. We were so glad that we had booked this private tour which catered to our family and was much more reasonable than the ship excursions. Kotor Private Tours and Excursions is highly recommended.
Awesome Tour!
Liset and Daniel provided an excellent experience from our first inquiry through the actual tour! We learned a lot, saw all the sites, beat traffic with an awesome boat ride, swam in the blue cave and had a wonderful lunch! We couldn’t have asked for a better day! Many thanks to all of you!
A fabulous day touring Kotor, Njegusi and Cetinje

We were actually on a lovely Dalmatian coast cruise, just in Kotor, Montenegro for one day. We opted to arrange (well in advance) a private, six-hour guided tour of Montenegro rather than participate in one of the ship-provided shore excursions. We are so glad we did, as Kotor Private Tours and Excursions gave us an exceptional experience. Best of all, this company offers the ultimate in flexibility to make changes along the way....kind of learn and adapt as you go based on your desires at the moment.

Our tour guide / driver, Daniel, met the four of us right outside the gates of the cruise ship port office, right on time, in his lovely and very comfortable minivan. He had pre-booked a tasting experience for us at a fabulous prosciutto smoke-house along the way, yet he gave us the flexibility, after starting our excursion, as to whether we wanted to go the tasting experience early in the day or later, closer to lunch time. We chose to make that our lunch experience....a very good choice as there was MUCH to eat!

It was very interesting to see the lovely coastline of Montenegro from high up on the mountain above Kotor and then see the countryside along the way to Cetinje. Our guide Daniel was quite knowledgeable, not only about his own country but also about our country (the US) as he had spent time going to college in the States. He was very aware of American politics and he kept us laughing at ourselves, to hear how he and others see us! We loved spending time with Daniel. He also told us what it was like for his parents to live under a Socialist government and what happened when the country ran out of other people's money. Interesting perspectives.

While in Cetinje, we visited the Museum house of King Nicola (Daniel magically fit us in with a private tour, separate from the other large groups touring the museum that morning...we really appreciated that! We also visited the monastery across the way (although we chose not to go in).

Lunch in the family-operated restaurant at the prosciutto smoke-house and the tour of the smoke house, led by the owner and his son (friend's of our driver/tour guide) just might have been the true high point of the day. We even had the chance to try their home "brew" (a digestif...somewhat like grappa). Loved the entire experience.

We ended the day with a short guided tour of the old walled city of Kotor...Daniel gave us the option to stay on with us for a longer time, but Kotor itself is not so big, so we elected to shop a bit on our own after saying good-bye to him. All in all, Montenegro is a very down-to-earth place to visit and Kotor Private Tours is definitely the way to see and experience it if you only have one day there. We highly recommend it.

A beautiful tour!
We had a wonderful tour of Kotor and were fortunate to have gotten to see much of Kotor thanks to our guide, Daniel. The tour was a perfect way to see such a beautiful city and ensured that even with mobility issues we saw far more than we could have on a group tour. Thank you!
Great day in Kotor - thank you Liset
Review of: Kotor Old Town Small-Group Walking Tour

We had a private tour arranged in Kotor with our group of 25 in June 2019. Liset arranged a private bus, a fantastic guide, and even helped me coordinate an additional stop at a wonderful local restaurant for the entire group. I was very impressed with not only the pre-tour coordination and communication but really enjoyed seeing Kotor with our guide. I highly recommend working with Liset!

Very Interesting tour and excellent guide
Review of: Kotor Old Town Small-Group Walking Tour

We arrived via cruise ship and were let off extremely close to the entrance of Old Town. Daniel met us at the dock and led the way. He immediately shared his great knowledge of everything Kotor, including history and current events. He was very smart, funny and knowledgeable. The walking is very easy, but would recommend tennis shoes as the streets are cobble stone.

Great tour, knowledgable tour guide
I booked this based on the numerous positive trip advisor reviews that I had read prior to coming out to Kotor. I was not disappointed. Daniel was extremely informative. He turned up promptly and waited for us to arrive as we disembarked off the ship.

Unfortunately our cruise company P&O messed up the timings which meant that our tour with Daniel was cut short quite considerably. I therefore did not get my full value for money from my trip, as we were on unable to do see all the places we have paid to visit. However this was not Daniel’s fault.

He also chose an excellent place for lunch additionally. I had concerns travelling with a nine month old baby, which was the reason I booked a private tour with Daniel. It was well worth it. I would definitely recommend him.

Highly recommendedWe arrived by cruise ship in Kotor and were picked up on time as promised (actually they waited as our ship was tendered and an absolute nightmare to get off). So our itinerary had to be changed which was no problem. Cate our guide was very patience andspoke perfect English. She was very informative, helpful and courteous. Due to weather conditions not being all that favourable we had to turn our speed boat around from the blue cave, and again Cate amended our itinerary to suit our needs. Unfortunately this was going to be the highlight for us so just be aware that if the weather is not perfect you won’t be able to access this cave. Kotor is simply stunning, everywhere you look is another picture postcard. Rain closed in but our boat skipper put up his awning, drove us across to Perast for coffee to wait out the shower. Such a scenic stop and the coffee and hot chocolate were wonderful. We could not recommend the services of Kotor Private Tours enough. Just perfect thank you.
Excellent private tour! Kotor and BudvaI emailed at 9:50 pm during our cruise, two evenings before arriving in Kotor. Liset responded immediately and had a guide and a driver available. The cost of the tour was very reasonable. Liset was extremely helpful and did all of the organizing for me. I told her what I wanted and she made it happen IN ONE WORKING DAY! Nela, our guide, was incredible! We were held up getting off the ship. Liset was in contact with me by phone and keeping in touch with Nela. I was traveling with my mother, my daughter and her one year old. Nela catered the tour to our needs. She is extremely knowledgeable and a joy to spend time with. We enjoyed listening to Nela tell us about this area and the country. She has a great affection for it and it shows. We even shared a nice (late) lunch together. If ever in Kotor again, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them. We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Kotor and Budva, and this tour was the foundation for that. (The driver was also excellent).
Wonderful speedboat experience

I booked a speedboat and blue caves tour for ten people. Liset and Daniel were incredibly helpful and accommodating and communicated really well before our arrival. Daniel was really informative and professional and we all felt really relaxed in his company. The actual tour was incredible - we were blessed with a beautiful day! Swimming in the blue caves was an amazing experience and to top it off Daniel took us to a restaurant with beautiful views and very reasonably priced food that we wouldn't have known about otherwise.
Everyone in my group had big smiles on their faces at the end of the day - well worth the money and absolutely recommend Liset and Daniel for others who want to experience something different whilst in Kotor.

Kotor Montenegro- Europe Trip

When we came in to port in Kotor we decided to hire a private driver outside of the port. He took us to all of the great sites to see including the best overlook of the entire bay! He was a fraction of the price compared to what the prices were on the cruise ship. He was friendly and it was a very personalized and private experience. After Kotor he then drove us to Budva which was a really cool city to see and we were given an hour or so to walk around and have free time. When we returned to Kotor we were able to walk around the old city and it was full of really cool shops, churches, and bars! Everything was reasonable priced and the people were extremely friendly! This was such a beautiful port, as the back drop are beautiful mountains surrounding the bay, city and ships.
