After meeting your licensed tour guide at the pier, you walk to your awaiting vehicle. Next you will start your tour with a drive to the Budvan riviera having stops along the way for panoramic pictures, including a view of the Bay from the mountains behind Kotor.
We will stop in Sveti Stefan / Saint Stefan, a luxurious resort that once used to be a small fishing village, first mentioned in the middle of 15th century. This small island is connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus. In total there is about 1 mile of pink sand beaches. The island is private property so it can only be photographed from the shore line, then we continue towards the most famous resort town in Montenegro Budva. While you are in Budva you will enjoy walking tour and a leisure time, Budva is considered to be one of the oldest settlements on the Balkan Peninsula. The old town of Budva is surrounded by ramparts originating from the XV century including a medieval fortification system with city gates, defense walls and towers. Inside the walls the town is a combination of narrow streets and little squares with valuable monuments of different Mediterranean cultures.
We will continue towards the luxurious Mega Yacht marina of Porto Montenegro where you will have enough time to explore and see why we are called the new Monte Carlo, after your wander and anjoy the fancy atmosphere or the modern side Montenegro we will meet our Skipper and enjoy a ride or our Bay towards the Open sea to visit our breathtaking beautiful Blue Cave, where you will have time for swimming and some leisure time by the beach.
Next we will take the speed boat towards the inner side of the Bay , you will enjoy cruising along the coast to the village Perast. This small town is a beautiful example of baroque architecture. In Perast you have a short walk among buildings and villas which were built during the city's prosperous years of the 17th and 18th centuries.
After your walk in Perast you sail to the island of Our Lady of the Rocks. This man-made Island was built by scuttling old ships and depositing stones around a small crag. According to legend, the islet was made over the centuries by the seamen who kept an ancient oath. Upon returning from each successful voyage, they laid a rock in the bay.
Next you will drive back to the Bay of Kotor, where you will enjoy a walking tour through the maze of Kotor's medieval quarter, its bustling market and among beautiful Renaissance buildings. The well preserved fortified walls of Kotor protect it from the sea and at nearly 3 miles long it is considered one of the world's historic values.
After your city tour of Kotor the excursion is close to end but you will have some time to explore the town or do some shopping before going back to your ship, with no worries of missing your last call on board.
